Why a 360 Video Booth Works for Fitness Expo Brand Activations

A 360 video booth works at a fitness expo because the crowd already wants to move, compete, and post. At the 2026 Olympia World Fitness Expo in Las Vegas, Celsius built its booth around a branded 360 video experience, and guests made more than 400 videos in two days.
Why does a 360 video booth fit a fitness crowd?
People at a fitness expo train hard and like showing it. A standard photo catches one angle. A 360 video booth circles the guest and catches the whole body in motion, which is exactly what a lifter, a physique competitor, or a weekend gym regular wants to share.
Mr. Olympia draws that crowd in volume. Olympia Weekend pulls in 10,000+ attendees, and the expo's own numbers show 69% male, with 57% between 25 and 44. That's an audience that films its workouts and posts them, so a booth that hands them a clean, branded video is speaking their language.
What did the Celsius booth at Mr. Olympia look like?
The expo ran Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26, in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Celsius was competing for attention with brands like Mutant and REIGN, so the booth had to do a lot at once.
The whole space was branded Celsius, including the 360 video booth itself and a branded overlay on every video guests took home. A DJ party section ran music and giveaways next to the booth, and more than 15 Celsius brand ambassadors worked the floor alongside our team.
Inside all of that sat a 30 second squat challenge. Guests stepped onto the 360 platform and did as many squats as they could while the camera spun, with scores on a live leaderboard. Anyone who beat the top score won a free Celsius shirt. Conference goers and athletes both jumped in, and people kept challenging each other throughout the day.

Why add a challenge to a 360 video booth?
A challenge gives people a reason to come back. Someone who posts a good score on Friday morning wants to check the board that afternoon, and a friend who sees the video wants to beat it. That repeat traffic is hard to get from a booth that only takes pictures.
Keep it short and fixed if you try this. Thirty seconds keeps the line moving, makes every score fair to compare, and fits inside a 360 clip, so the hardest reps are what land on camera. Put the leaderboard where the line can see it. People waiting their turn become the audience.
Why does instant delivery matter at an expo?
Expo guests are walking a huge floor with a full schedule. If the video shows up hours later, most of them won't post it. At the Celsius booth, guests got their videos right away by QR code, text, email, or AirDrop, so they could share before they'd even left the booth. Every one of those posts carried the Celsius overlay. Instant delivery did the same job at our 360 video booth activation for Hard Rock Bet, which drove more than 600 app signups at a Fort Lauderdale Halloween event.
What should brands plan for a fitness expo booth?
Start with branding everywhere a camera can see it, including the video overlay, since that's the piece that travels. A branded booth works like an extra ambassador on the floor, which we break down in our post on branded photo booths as brand ambassadors. Staff it heavier than you think. Celsius had 15+ brand ambassadors, and the Celsius team told us they were impressed by the crowd and by how involved our staff got in making the experience special for every participant, from first timers to the athletes chasing the top score.
Then give people more than one reason to stop. Music and giveaways pull them in, the 360 video booth gives them something to share, and a challenge gives them a reason to return. Retail pop ups follow the same idea. Our Sephora x Unrivaled activation at Dadeland Mall paired a 360 video booth with a print booth inside a locker room style build.
